Ordering a PortWall product

Choose the product in the PortWall portal, give the service a server name, check the order summary and confirm it. The portal raises an invoice; the service is set up as soon as the invoice is paid. Order one service per server or appliance.

How ordering works

Order in the PortWall portal at https://portwall.net/billing/. Choose the product, configure it, check the order summary and confirm it. The portal then raises an invoice, and the service is set up as soon as the invoice is paid: for PortWall WAF, the licence key appears on the service's page in the portal straight away.

Placing an order, step by step

  1. Open https://portwall.net/billing/, choose Order, then the product group (for example PortWall WAF). The page Browse Products and Services lists what you can buy. You can also start from a Buy button on portwall.net.
  2. On the product, pick Monthly or Annually under Choose billing cycle: (annual is 12 months for the price of 10) and choose Continue.
  3. Under Product Configuration, fill in Server name: a name that tells this service apart from your others, for example web-01 or Dubai appliance. You can change it later.
  4. Choose Continue to see the Order Summary. If you have a promotional code, choose Use promotional code in the Cart summary and enter it.
  5. Sign in, or create your customer account if you do not have one yet, and confirm the order. The terms that apply are linked from each product, and all of them from https://portwall.net/legal.html.
  6. Pay the invoice the portal raises. See Invoices and paying.

Ordering for several servers

Order one service for each server or appliance: each PortWall WAF licence covers one Windows server or one Linux appliance. Give each its own Server name so you can tell them apart later. For many servers, write to [email protected] first for a volume quote.

Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are in USD and are shown on each product and in the Cart summary before you confirm. Prices exclude taxes; you are responsible for any applicable taxes. Fees are billed in advance; PortWall WAF is billed monthly or annually (12 months for the price of 10). Product prices are on portwall.net and in Prices.

After you order

  • The order and its invoice appear in your account straight away; the service shows as pending until the invoice is paid.
  • Once it is paid, the service becomes active. For PortWall WAF, open Services, choose the licence and copy the licence key; see How to buy PortWall and get your licence key.
  • A product that needs a quote (for example a PortWall WAF Enterprise appliance) is ordered through [email protected], not the portal.
